A Misconception

Something I've faced in the past with my philosophy/ideology is the assumption that I want people to follow it or that I want people to be like me. I've never cared about or wanted either one.
Along with this, if that is ever the goal of a philosophy, it is bad philosophy for the following reasons.
I have defined philosophy as the study of truth over time. What is truthful over time about an ideology is that everyone's life is different and everyone thinks differently.
Different philosophies/ideologies exist to explain the patterns within different ways of thinking. Ideologies explain patterns of thinking which are innate to the human experience.
Some ideologies, like stoicism, aim to rewire patterns of thinking for ideal goals and this kind of ideology is great for explaining ways of thinking which may bring one success within society.
There are also ideologies which explain purely natural ways of thinking such as pessimism or optimism. Cynicism exists to explain how we align our ways of thinking with nature and truth.
The ideology I have in mind exists to justify our true self and the existence of all of our emotions.
The goal of a philosophy or ideology existing to be popular or have followers is conflicting with the reason for why ideologies exist at all.
There is a finite amount of possible general ideologies. I see a few left untouched.
