Depression

Depression occurs because of a lack of trust in our survival instincts. If the instincts we rely on to survive are continually unsuccessful, we lose trust in those instincts resulting in an overall lack of trust in our ability to take care of ourself.
True validation is the cure for depression but true validation is entirely different for each and every person.
The more intelligent someone is, the higher their need for true validation. Not necessarily validation from others but validation to themself.
I have a book in mind. This is only the beginning.
