Role Models Aren't Real

For mechanical tasks, we can watch someone else and repeat what they do. If I want to learn how to shoot a basketball, I can watch someone who is proficient, repeat what they do, and most likely improve.
This doesn't work for non mechanical tasks. Everyone's life is different and the circumstances of each person's life is relative to the rest of their life. You can't watch someone else live their life and ever think you are doing the same thing they are.
Any application of relativity completely rules out the existence of role models.
