True Happiness

This was something I was saving but I am bursting at the seams to release more.

I have defined happiness as the following.

Peace with the is, in combination with true choice.

Peace with the is means that we understand our circumstances and are not concerned with the past or future. We are existing in the present. It is possible to lie to ourselves in order to find peace with the is. This is often not sustainable but works temporarily. Ignorance is bliss.

Often, the more intelligent we are, the more difficult it can be to find peace with the is as intelligent people are not ignorant to what is going on.

When we are feeling peaceful with the is, our minds tend to look for ways to sustain it. True choice is what we have to sustain it. When we have true choice, we feel we have the ability to maintain peace. Without true choice, we are powerless to possibilities and peace can potentially be lost.

The more intelligent one is, the greater their ability to see accurately what potential outcomes may be and true choice is their way of navigating those outcomes.

The more intelligent one is, the greater their need for true choice and freedom is.

Manipulation

Manipulation goes hand in hand with my definition of happiness. I have defined manipulation as the following.

An inhibition of authenticity

Intelligent people accurately explore their experiences. Intelligent people innately understand what is authentic and what is not.

Authenticity is that which would naturally occur

Intelligent people therefore dislike manipulation as manipulation disrupts their ability to find peace with the is and takes away their true choice.

My name is Nick Miller and I am a backyard philosopher. I have created what I call a meta theory of everything which logically conceptualizes anything and everything. I plan to apply it to any thing and every thing I possibly can.

Nothing IS. Other than what IS.
